Tide Meets Boatshed

The boathsheds are situated at a location that is easily affected by natural occurrences such as the tidal patterns. At high tide the space between the ocean and the boatsheds decrease I want to use this concept as the idea for this weeks boatshed design however, instead of the intermediary space decreasing at high tide I want to imagine that it actually disappears and floods the boat shed.

The boatsheds are somewhat of a transitional stage between suburban and rural. A meeting between nature and man made.

The flooding of the boatshed could be incredibly simple and could easily remain an empty boatshed that at high tide fills with water, however because the tide is a combined effect of the gravitational forces between the moon and sun and the earth's rotation, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tide, it is unrealistic that with the high tide we won't have low tide. Because of this reality, there will definitely be a time in which the boatshed is empty and this time frame could be used to accompany another form of meeting within the space.

Things I need to consider:

Tidal times-Morning, Midday, Night

How the tide will flood, does it need a pool like structure?

Low tide space? Gym?

How many floors? just a ground level? or a floor above as well? more space for the potential gym? or perhaps a cafe?
