My Meeting:

This space is an alternative interpretation of my very first meeting (Atea) idea of Chance Meetings.

It encourages the concept of chance meetings through the concept of synchronicity
(synchronicity nounthe simultaneous occurrence of events which appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection) through the installation of a public walkway located at the Clyde Quay boat sheds.

The walkway is both practical and interactive with the ability for the public to project digital images of themselves, events and places from their past onto the metal reflective walls of the walkway while they use the space. Only the images of those who are inhabiting the space will be projected, once they leave so too will the images. If someone is walking through and sees an image of someone they know, an event they were also at etc, there is then the possibility they will meet the person from their past and experience a chance meeting.
