Quite often chance meetings with people you may know or once knew occur after or around a time that you may think of them or they or aspects of them appear often within your life. This meeting is less likely to be a result of these thoughts and more likely to be a result of association; the fact that this thing/person is on your mind, aspects of this thing/or person become more obvious within your everyday life. You become aware of things you may not normally notice. It is however an merely interesting coincidence. 

What I take away from the concept of synchronicity is the idea of thoughts and the power of the brain. 

Within the boatsheds I want to design  a space for thoughts and relaxation in the hope that synchronicity (coincidental meetings) will occur as a result. 

A place of comfort with couches, beanbags, books, magazines, company etc
