Experimenting with tiling on fountains and back wall:
Blue tiling is unsuccessful. It is too busy and the fountain almost disappears and resembles too much of bathroom tiling,
These two are possibilities but the second of the two would be my preference as it resembles a stone wall and suits the outdoor location better. The fountain also merges nicely with the wall.
I think I will choose the material "Stone Vein Grey" as it suits the location and links it to its surroundings as the arches that surround the pool are made of the same material.
