Forced Meetings?

Something I have discovered while researching indoor and outdoor seating is that the way in which a certain space, whether it be a restaurant, cafe, park etc, arranges the seating will determine whether or not a group or individual will choose to occupy that space.

Atea is all about meetings therefore I wanted to have seating arrangements that uses a group of seats however if I was to go to a cafe alone I know that I would look at a grouped seating arrangement (such as those seen below) and decide against sitting there as it better suits a group and would then find a smaller more private seat somewhere else-limiting my possibilities to meet new people.

Is it possible that instead of grouped seating arrangements there needs to be seating that can be used both individually and in groups. Such as the seating examples below:

Polymorphic Kinetic Bench:

The above examples show a range of seating that can be used both individually or in groups. They are designed in such a way that they could be shared simultaneously by two individuals and neither would feel uncomfortable or unwelcome however as the individuals are technically sitting together the design of the seating could also ensue a coincidental or "forced" meeting.
